Membership

tie_arizona_photo10Members of TiE Arizona are entrepreneurs and professionals with an interest in entrepreneurship, either in a start-up context or within a larger company. They represent a diverse set of industries, including software and information technologies, life science, financial services and other services. Membership is open to individuals of all backgrounds and experiences with the payment of annual dues.

Benefits of Membership

  • Exclusive or discounted access to our monthly events featuring successful entrepreneurs as guest speakers, skills development seminars/workshops and career development activities.
  • Network and cultivate relationships with successful Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, and business leaders with similar interests
  • Access to our free mentor network to get help in entrepreneurial issues such as business planning, fund raising, etc.
  • One to one mentoring opportunities available for members throughout the year, upon request.
  • Members can establish relationships with Charter Members and other members who can provide them mentorship, connections to venture capital investors and other professional organizations; advice (especially with respect to business planning and financing strategies) and, in some cases, access to capital. However TiE, as a non-profit-making organization, does not directly engage in venture capital investments.
  • An opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs in various stages of realizing their entrepreneurial dreams. These informal networks provide guidance, support and friendship from others with similar quests.
  • Access to a Members’ only zone on the TiE Silicon Valley website

Charter Membership

Charter membership is by invitation only and is subject to a due diligence process as prescribed by the TiE bylaws. Charter members are successful:

  • Entrepreneurs
  • Corporate executives
  • Senior professionals with roots in Arizona or in promoting entrepreneurialism in Arizona

These individuals are at a stage in their professional development where they are willing, ready and able to contribute to fellow members. They benefit by networking with each other and derive satisfaction by nurturing aspiring entrepreneurs. They have the opportunity to participate in TiE monthly events as speakers and/or panelists, and as mentors.

Student Membership

The TiE-AZ student membership program is geared to promote the early interaction of students with the mainstream business community.

Students may enjoy the benefits of TiE AZ members by paying only $10 per event. This offer is only valid for students registered full-time with an accredited university or college and who can present a valid student ID from that institution at the time of registration with TiE-AZ. This offer does not hold after the student graduates.
